THE PURGE: BREAKOUT is an immersive escape-game experience based on the world of Universal Pictures’ THE PURGE.
It’s Purge Night, and your group is being held captive by a demented torturer…with only 30 minutes before the start of The Purge. Trapped in his house, groups must work together—solving a series of increasingly complicated mind-bending puzzles and clues—to escape captivity and survive THE PURGE. Based on popular escape room adventures taking the U.S. and Asia by storm, the experience is like a real life video game. Visitors will be completely immersed into a horror experience like no other.

What is an escape game?
Think of it like being dropped into a real life video game. In order to successfully proceed through the experience, your group must work together to solve clues and puzzles, unlock mysteries, and confront a variety of physical and mental challenges to escape before Purge Night begins.
Is this like a haunted house?
There will certainly be plenty of scares. But the experience is designed to immerse you in the world of The Purge and challenge your group to solve clues and puzzles in order to escape. Unlike a traditional haunted house experience, you’re not just a passive viewer moving through a show.
How many people are in each group?
A maximum group size of six people must work together to escape. Your group will not be split up. However, you may be paired with people you don’t know (for example, if you have 3 people in your party you will likely be matched with 3 additional players).
Can I reserve a private group experience?
The maximum group size is six. If you want to guarantee a private experience and do not want other players to join you, please purchase all six tickets for a given timeslot. If you cannot purchase all six tickets, it means someone has already purchased tickets for that slot.
Why are there timed entry tickets?
The experience begins at specific times throughout the day. You must arrive 15 minutes prior to your ticketed time for registration and check-in. If you fail to arrive on time for any reason, you will be placed into a later entry only if space is available. We cannot guarantee entry if you do not arrive at the appropriate time. No ticket refunds will be available.
How long will it take?
That depends on whether your group is resourceful enough to escape. In general, you have 30 minutes to escape … or else you’ll be Purged. Please arrive 15 minutes before your timeslot.
Are cell phones permitted?
Cell phones are not allowed to be used. The use of electronic devices or any outside tools are strictly prohibited and you will immediately be removed from the show if you attempt to use them.
Are there age restrictions?
You must be 18 years or older to participate without an adult. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and sign a waiver. Parents or legal guardians must also purchase a ticket and participate in the event. Given the horror content of the experience, we strongly discourage participation of anyone under 13.
Are tickets refundable?
No. All sales are final. Please be aware of that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds, cancellations or reschedules are not accepted.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable casual clothing. No open toed shoes are permitted.
